BAE Systems has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UK systems house MASS to collaborate on business development activities related to Electronic Warfare (EW) technology for export customers.
The collaboration aims to offer a suite of capabilities such as EW training and data management, operational analysis, countermeasure development, mission data validation and mission evaluation.
BAE Systems’ Saudi Arabia programmes director Andy Lavin said: ''MASS’s reputation as the leading provider to the UK’s Air Warfare Centre and BAE Systems’ reputation in advanced weapon system support will deliver operational capability benefit to Saudi Arabia and our other export customers.''
Commenting on the MoU, MASS managing director Ashley Lane said: ''This supports our aim to assist other nations build an indigenous capability in the operational support and use of modern EW systems.''
