Project Background:
The aim of the contract is to enhance the capabilities of the Belarus Ministry of Defence, by providing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capability.
This UAV is a multipurpose platform capable of delivering supplies, relaying communications, emergency human transport, laser spotting, NBC sensing, non-lethal interdiction, as well as support for search and rescue.

The scope of the contract involves developing a range of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capability.
The contract is in planning stage and is expected to be finalised in Q2 2012; and likely continue till the end of Q4 2014. The estimated value of the contract is US$100 million.
