The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation has awarded a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract to Timken Aerospace Transmissions to provide angle drive units.

The angle drive units will be used by the Army.

The angle drive is the first stage of the speedometer system, transferring rotary motion of the front left wheel to the speedometer.
